This game was so far ahead of it’s time that it’s amazing the technological cavemen of the time knew what to make of it. A huge 3D sandbox world, multiple vehicles, 32 different player characters each with unique abilities, a proceduraly generated campaign that reacts to how you do…such a clever little gem.

Some of the sections weren’t really friendly though, requiring such inhuman precision that you’re guaranteed to crash if you breathe too heavily while touching the mouse. Still, the concept of the game was so enthralling that it was easy to forgive while you trawl around the massive landscapes eager to see what was over the next hill.
