I don’t really remember too much about this game, but I did enjoy the Commodore 64 version a bit. Actually to be more accurate I remember wanting to enjoy the Commodore 64 version because the graphics were half decent and I didn’t have a copy of Black Tiger yet.
And that’s my Rastan Saga story.

Mine is that I pretended it was a good game so I could listen to the too good for 80′s hardware soundtrack. Sure, the game itself was only average, and the main character was Conan the Barbarian breaking his no-compete contract with himself, but the important thing was that unlike the actual Conan games, this one made me feel like I was a barbarian trying to tame a cruel alien world.
Haha, yes, the dogged determination of any young gamer forcing themselves to enjoy a game even though they knew it was a bit crap. I spent days telling myself that Sega’s ESWAT was a worthy game after I bought it by mistake.
I WAS WRONG.
