Micro Machines was an awesome game and simple and fun and it didn’t have a bunch of cutscenes in fact there was no story at all.
Funny how a game like this is way more memorable than the latest CINEMATIC SNORE FEST.
The PC version was a jolly good port, and I liked it. There were about 400 other versions that were more or less identical though. Even the CDi got one!
I liked it, but the later ports, like on the WII.. somehow they took the fun out. 🙁
I think it also helps to be like 12 years old and not mind hunching around a keyboard with three other kids fighting to reach the controls for your car… 🙂
Honestly my friends and I still play this game with 8 PS1 controllers. We always joke around that it is the world championship because I am sure no one plays it anymore.
Dang, I wish I was around when there were these games. This game sounds awesome.
The great thing about retrogaming is that it’s never too late to start playing! Get on it 🙂
