I like Zombies Ate My Neighbors, I guess.
It’s a good game. I’m not here to bash it, you know. There’ll be no random game bashing here! The graphics were nice, the sound was cute, and it was a darn sight better than most of the other stuff that was cluttering up store shelves back in the mid ’90s. I just got tired of the formula really quickly, since it was just a series of ever more elaborate find locked door, find key, open door mazes that frankly I kept losing track of.
They followed this up with a sequel that I can’t remember, and a similar game with some really nice 2D animation called Hercules on the PlayStation. It’s a rare treat.
Unfortunately, zombie games are a lot different today and I don’t think this game (or its characters) would survive in the modern, gritty marketplace.

Hey, I loved that game on SNES!
