One of the great things about this era of gaming, before everything got all corporate and focus testy, is that it was totally normal to have a game starring a giant green foot with eyes.

I mean, check this nutty game out:

One of the things I really liked about Gribbly’s is the floaty control that felt so different from the platformers of the time, with a real sense of inertia pushing little Gribbly around. These days it’s pretty standard but it felt great at the time.

I always looked forward to a sequel, maybe one day…
