OK, secret admission time. When I first played The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time, I spent the first three freaking hours searching for the sword in the maze near where you start. The N64 graphics were so bad, and my vision was so terrible that I completely missed the little entrance you needed to go into to find the damn thing. I thought the game had glitched and started to doubt Nintendo’s quality control department. D’oh!

I suck at video games, but I guess that’s not really a secret!

I recently started playing the remake of this on the 3DS, and it’s really lovely, but also has that whole ‘if you haven’t played the game in a while you have no idea what you’re meant to be doing’ thing that plagues all games that require an attention span longer than the average pop song.
